Attending a military Christmas party where I didn't want to slit my throat with the butter knife. When one of the waiters dropped a tray and a guy at our table yelled "FAIL!" it just made my night.

Thank you all muchly! Of course, I still have to go through several weeks of radiation as a precaution, but a return to normality (well, I use that word loosely) is on the horizon. Incidentally, for the medically inclined geeks among us, the tumor was 16 centimeters wide when it was discovered. Doesn't sound like much, but it really didn't fit well in my chest, what with my right lung and heart and ribs and stuff. What's left now is just minimal scar tissue.

16 centimeters? Oh my... that's... unbelievable... I mean... America has finally gone metric?! Hahaha... not likely! Although Sue, I have to laugh at your assessment of 16 centimetres not being much. That's... pretty modest of you.

WOOT! Good job Sue, now your kids will never give you problems again, because you can always say, "Hey, I kicked cancer's butt, what makes you think you're tougher than THAT?"
