I just wanted to pass along news that Lissa and I are now proud parents of a little baby boy. Both are doing well, as you can see in the photo below: He's got her blond hair... for now

Congratulations! You have been blessed with a beautiful child. And his mommy is looking radiant and happy to see him, though after a few nights that may change. And was it a C-section? He's looking very non-squashed, for a newborn...

Awwwww... way to go, you guys. The new one looks awesome. I'm so pleased for you both. PoolGirl just stopped by the computer to ooh and aah as well, she's just as happy for you. She's almost as big a sucker for babies as I am. ... So... is Lissa ready to come back to work yet?

Yeah, tell her to get off her butt and get that Mutant Viewing in...
But, seriously, CONGRATS! Wooga wooga and all that! We're all very happy for you and Mr. Non-Squished (myself being born from a C-section as well). Enjoy the moments you get... they don't stay small for long!

Congratulations, guys, he looks beautiful.
Bill Cosby: [in the hospital room after the birth of their first baby] ... and I looked at it... and it wasn't getting any better. So I went over to my wife, kissed her ever so gently on the cheek, and I said "pudd... congratulations. You just... had... a lizard." I mean, because the thing changed colors like, five times!

C-section babies are cool, so says Spawn of Mutant 2 who is one. And hey, if you have staples in your gut, you can threaten to shoot people with them! One belly laugh and you can put someone's eye out. And Congrats to Mr. and Mrs. (Sorry, Dr. and Dr.) Duckie!

Yup, she had to undergo an emergency C-section... but everyone's doing great. I tried to convince her to complete a mutant viewing of The Two Towers (TNT or TBS was playing it over and over this weekend), but I don't think that's gonna happen And here's another piccie...

I like them when they get to about birth day + 2 and look a little less like pruned fruit and more like a completely cuddly critter. He looks spiffy! Dapper! Ready to take the world and twist it to his whim!

Did... did you just call the defenseless little baby a prune?

I don't know about a prune, but I think we can all agree that he does look sort of, but not quite like, Winston Churchhill.
