It's a baseball related riddle from a movie The umpire(or whatever his title is) and the catcher, I think that's what they're called, anyway the dude with a huge breatplate that yells SAFE or OUT and the crouching dude you throw the ball to.

the answer was supposed to be "ball of yarn" but silkworm cocoon is way better.
