It's a baseball related riddle from a movie  The umpire(or whatever his title is) and the catcher, I think that's what they're called, anyway the dude with a huge breatplate that yells SAFE or OUT and the crouching dude you throw the ball to.  |

the answer was supposed to be "ball of yarn" but silkworm cocoon is way better.
