Hi everybody!
First off, thank you to the staff and the Forumites for all the kind words and wishes. You people are all wonderful, and the biggest and best perk of the job was always the people you got to write with and for. MRFH has awesome fans.
Storm, I will definitely host another Mutant Scavenger Hunt. Have no fears. I may even try to rig it so StarOpal can't possibly win, but to be honest, I fear she cannot be stopped.
Varana (and everyone else who asked), I will NOT be disappearing from the Forum. In fact, I'm relatively sure in a week's time you'll all be asking me when the hell I'm leaving. This is a departure from the writing and projects side of the MRFH, I'm still going to maintain Mod status here on the Forum, and will still post regularly.
To the various Canadians on the board, it actually really DOES pain me to hand the MRFH completely back over to the Americans. Not because they can't handle it or because I don't love them (I do!), but because I always took a little pride in bringing some international feel to the site. Same went for Rich, too. Having a British writer was always a cool point for me. But the upshot is that Justin no longer has his Canadian crutch to lean on. But in all seriousness, the MRFH was my gateway to a whole new understanding of the American people and how awesome they can really be. Having so many dear American friends a real testament to that.
Gallahad, don't worry. Justin and me, we're like Kermit and Fozzie. People mix us up all the time when I take my hat off.
Huckle, you'll always be that fan I hand picked to stop pestering just me and shared with everyone else.
And Jellybean, don't you worry. You'll always have the Canadian Buddha Man. Which reminds me, young lady, you owe me some 'splaining on this new beau of yours...
Anyways, thank you all again, you're the best. Now hurry up, finish that cake, and get back to work!
