You rely on Monty Python's "Galaxy Song" as a study guide for your science exam, and it actually helps!
It's surprising just how accurate that song is.

You mean the part about hoping there's intelligent life somewhere out in space, because there's bugger all down here on earth?

Hey, I graduated high school in '05, and I can guarantee you there were no aspiring biomedical engineers who looked like Simon in my school. That I knew of. Damn my artistic aptitude!

You're upset about the fact that Poison, Ratt, and White Lion are touring together this summer, and they're not coming to your area.

"We're not Poison, dude, we're Whitesnake!" "I thought we were Quiet Riot." "It says here we're Ratt."

You know you're a geek when you can tell almost right away that Drew didn't get that Simpsons quote exactly right. It's "We're not Whitesnake, dude, we're Poison!", not the other way 'round.

...you have dishonored me, Oogie-San. I must challenge you to a Simpsons-off to regain it, or commit ritual seppuka.

That'd be "Larry." No one steals from Montgomery Burns, whether it be his Sunday newspaper or his loutish oaf of a son.
Who was the first ever celebrity to portray him or herself on the show?

Ah...so the game is afoot...
*ponders*
A tough question, this...the only people I can think of are Paul and Linda McCartney, in the episode where Lisa stops eating meat. They're the earliest celebrities I can think of that don't play a different character.
