Absolutely genius. I guess the Mutants are cribbing notes from Maddox's book...

Uh I haven't been here for a couple of weeks and I come back to hello kitty.... so I ask what happened? Justin asked what I wanted for my first wedding anniversary and I said, "Can you turn MRFH into a crazy-ass Japanese game show? Just for one day?" So thoughtful. Love ya, J! -D

Love it, though I'm not sure that anything will ever match the Rob Schneider love-in from a while back. That frightened me.

Any other April Fools reports to make? I called my mother in law yesterday morning posing as an RCMP officer, explaining what the surcharges would be for her dialling of 911 three times last week (true story, the neighbours came over and asked her to dial it twice due to a dispute, and then she accidentally redialled). I put on a Texan accent and called myself "Constable Austin", in honour of my recent trip to Clare's house. I had her hook line and sinker. I even timed the call so it would be about an hour after my father in law had left for the airport so she couldn't hand the phone to him, which she would have ordinarily done. She took the news that 911 calls cost $152 EACH pretty well... After I'd kind of lead her around a little bit, I said I was going to transfer her to the billing secretary. At which point I handed the phone to PoolGirl, who said "Hi Mom". There was a great deal of laughing. This woman is the QUEEN of "lie to your face" pranks (highlights include telling her children there was a dead dog in the yard), so it was fun to pull one over on her. Did you guys do any good pranks?

My husband went out in the morning and took my car keys with him so that I couldn't go anywhere for most of the day unless I felt like walking in the rain. It wasn't actually very funny.

I'm evil, but harmless.
Yesterday, I walked into the office at work where my son was totally engrossed in a book. I touched the back of his head, then started to walk away snickering.
He said, "What was that for?"
I said, "Heh, that's a really good color on you." Well hey, he's got strawberry blonde hair. It is a good color on him!
That was followed by about fifteen minutes of him frantically staring in mirrors, raking his fingers around in his hair and demanding to know what I'd done to him.
Funny he didn't believe me when I kept telling him, "Nothing! I didn't do anything! I promise! HAHAHAHA!!!!"
Ahhh, April 1st just rocks.

I didn't pull any pranks, though an immature ex did try to convince me that he was coming out of the closet. *sigh* I found the various April Fools' pranks on my favorite webcomics (xkcd was particularly amusing) to be good, as well as the treatment given to slashdot.org. What can I say, I'm a geek.

I personally don't partake, but my family tends to be rather vicious. Fake heart attacks, faking dead pets, playing on horrible frozen-in-terror phobias, messing with electrical shock, and that's just for starters!
The one of note this year - my brother, who is in the military, called my mom...
"Mom, I... I got something to tell you." "What? What's wrong?" "I'm going to be gone for a while." "...Can you tell me where?" "No. But there's a lot of sand." "......" "And, Mom?" "Yes?" "April Fool." *maniacal laughter*
After she got off the phone, with a proud gleam in her eyes, she said, "It's my own fault. I taught him everything he knows."
I just don't get it personally.

No major reports, other than I was glad to see a Sailor Moon pic on the front page. Only anime besides early "Pokemon" episodes I ever really got into. And I agree that there are few things scarier than that Rob Scheider worship thing that turned up last year...
