This falls under the widely accepted view that Voldemort was leaving the creation of his Horcrux(es?) for special assassinations, and killing Harry would have been his 7th. I would have to say Superman at his peak. Are you talking about "Crisis on infinite worlds" or "infinite crisis"? I'm just figuring good old every day superman. Speaking of which, which one is more powerful?

Crisis on Infinite Earths. The 1986 miniseries that combined all of DC's universes (until about two weeks ago, that is).
The main difference is, Pre-Crisis Superman could juggle planets, fly so fast he would travel back in time, survive without air forever, and never be hurt by... uh, well, anything except kryptonite or magic.
Post-Crisis Superman is massively less powerful. He'd have a hard time lifting a mountain, couldn't break the speed of light, and would actually be hurt by getting, say, punched by a really strong (but entirely non-magical) guy like Doomsday.
Put it this way: if Post-Crisis Superman fought the Hulk or Thor, it would be one heck of a battle. If Pre-Crisis Superman fought the Hulk or Thor, it would be over in one punch. And it'd really be more of a light tap.
