OK, you probably noticed that new New Years Resolution for this year here at MRFH is to review a film requested by one of you lovely people selected at random each month.
Before I go onto the selection process, there are a couple of caveats to my resolution:
1. Don't pick a film that I've already reviewed
2. Don't pick a film it's impossible for me to see (remember, UK film releases are often several months behind US ones)
3. If you pick a film, and my local BlockBuster doesn't carry it, you'll have to pick a different one.
4. You can't pick Brazil.
Right, thats tha nasty bit out of the way; now the fun begins. In order to select one of you at random, here's what I'm going to do. I have added together all the digits which comprise my home telephone number here in the UK, including area code and international dialing code.
I will leave this thread open for the next 24 hours - the person who posts the number closest to the sum of the digits of my phone number gets to pick the film I review.
Simple, huh?
