The Garbage Pail Kids?! Ab-so-lutely! I remember that movie. I had a strange obsession with that and Howard the Duck when I was a kid. It was strange.

I need to catch up on my posts so i'll say something random.
Cabbage Patch vs. Garbage Pail, battle royale, no rules.
Who would win?

Me, because I would have my snipers take out the winners.

Ha, snipers are underated when compared to rocket launchers.
But Goldeneye was awesome. It's just making me think back to those good old times. Good times man, good times.

Aw man... you're making me reminisce. Talk about one of the big reasons I had an N64 for so long...

Two words: Limpet Mines. The surest path toward making the other players not like you. That, and bouncing grenades around corners.

Ah man. The limpet mines. Yes, I surely would have disliked you, Bubba.
Did anyone play Goldeneye's spiritual successor, Perfect Dark?

When I replied I didn't know you were referring to the video game...I would really have had snipers spreading cabbage patch brains all over the arena.

I've never seen a single second of Perfect Dark in single player, but by the end of Junior year of college I was unbeatable in deathmatch. I can't wait for the sequel... it should be out soon... right? Right?

Well, Microsoft purchased Rare (the creators of Perfect Dark, and for that matter, Goldeneye), so not only is there a delay, but they've turned Joanna from this: Into this: So you can guess what I think of the future of PD. Blech. Oh, and the single player on PD was amazing. Great fun, very open.

On the bright side, short red hair is a clear indicator of spunk. I just wish she wasn't 12 years old.

Or groping herself in promotional "art". Or suffering from the Barbie proportions problem.

Well yeah, that's about my feeling too.
I mean, the original Joanna wasn't exactly a paragon of women's rights either, but she was at least a realistically proportioned and non-jailbait looking character. Certainly a far more tolerable pile of polygons than freaking Lara Croft. Seems to me they want a healthy dose of Ms Croft with a splash of that Japanese style that the kids love these days.
And being such a fan of the original Perfect Dark, that's bloody depressing.

Heh. She looks like every superhero female I've ever known. Take it up with their union.
