If only I weren't leaving town on friday and working 12 hrs/day until then.
Maybe this'll give us a conversation:
Where'd you see the orcs singing?

The orcs were on a behind the scenes / making of documentary for one of the LOTR films. It was probably ROTK, since I seem to recall seeing it on TV last fall.

I hope it'll be on the DVD. It sounds interesting.

Can't believe it. Unless Doc posts 53 more times in the next 2 days, Pooly gets off scot free. And I remember seeing the singing orc. He was strumming his sword like a banjo.

Well, let's just say that if he doesn't make it by the 6th, I'm willing to make adjustments to the rules. After all, the point of the resolutions was to do something for the readers, not taunt them. Like all of Clare's Cusack-reviews!

Well I'm leaving for the weekend in a couple hours, so I can't see that I would get any more in before the deadline. I tried though--I wasn't even in the top 6 when this thing started.
And I would have thought my rantings about legalizing pot would have sparked at least a few more posts. You know sometimes a flame war is welcome.

Well. Well, well, well. Nobody made it? Nobody?!? Ah well. As I said above, I'm perfectly willing to bend the rules. However, I never said I wouldn't bend 'em in my favour. Does this loophole have something to do with Brazil? This was indeed the loophole I was referring to. My original rules (unlike Rich's) never said I wouldn't review Brazil. So given that nobody made the June 6th deadline, I'm now amending the rules originally set out for the contest as following: - The deadline is now Dec 31, 2004, 11:59 pm PST to reach 666 posts. The first 6 readers who make it by that time each get to demand a review of me, as per the previous rules. - Brazil is no longer on the menu. REAL Brazil, not April Fools shenanigans. Missed your chance!

Ha, I can make that. I'll only need 148. (notice the edit. The number is correct as of this post)

Wierd, I thought I posted this already.
Anyway, got any suggestions for movies I can torment Poolman with when I break 666? If I don't get any suggestions I'll probably let him off easy, like I did with Rich.
EDIT: Hey, what do you know? This is 666. I thoght it was 665.

Heh... I was waiting for this.
I actually hadn't forgotten about you, Doc. I checked your postcount just two days ago, when you were still 7 away. So I decided to wait.
Congratulations! You're the first (and, I fear, only) qualifier! And only 6 weeks late!
Ooh. 6 weeks. That's kinda cool.

You think I'll still be the only one by Dec 31? Nah, I think at least one other will get it.
Do I get a bonus for throwing in that extra "6"? Because, you know, I planned it that way.
Yeah.

Note to self: Get to 666 posts on the MRFH forums. *looks at paltry number of current posts* Oh, yeah.
