Hale Berry as Catwoman. Hmmmm...Not gonna work. She just doesn't look like Catwomen, ya know, and I just really don't think it's going to work out.
And yes, the best Batman ever was in the 60's TV show. POW! BAM! WHAP!
~Samus of the 9th Castle of the 9th Land of the 9th Nation of the 9th World of the 9th Solar System of the 9th Galaxy of the 9th Supercluster of the 9th Universe of the 9th Eye of God, Knight of the Round-Shaped Circular Oval Table Defender of Sillyness and Just Us
Okay, I may not be the biggest Batman buff, but isn't Catwoman Selina Kyle, and not Patience Price? Correct me if I'm wrong. (are they basing this on the Catwoman comic series? or the Batman series?)
The costume. Seriously. You've got to be kidding me! Wasn't extremely tight leather enough? Now she has to lose half of her clothes? I know in some of the comics, she was a hooker (See: Batman Year One), but according to this article, she's a scientist at a cosmetics company?
Is anyone else confused or am I just thinking too hard?
The thing is, I'm probably gonna see this movie anyways. *Sigh* Curse my love of superhero movies!
Some people are like Slinkies . . . not really good for anything, but you still can't help but smile when you see one tumble down the stairs.

Okay, last time I heard Ashley Judd was trying like crazy to secure this part for herself. I remember in an interview on tv she said she's peeing all over it to mark it as her territory or something to that affect. I think she could have pulled it off, but I'm not so sure about Halle Berry. And the costume is ridiculous.
Hmmm... just flipped back to the article and it does say Patience Price. That name doesn't ring a bell, but I know that Selena Kyle was Catwoman.

So, is there any chance that Ashley Judd might still get the part by way of massive peasant revolt? I've got a crudely fashioned wooden pitchfork that needs breaking in.
I've been tired of Halle Berry since.....when did she first come on the scene? Anyway, if'n I we're Mr. Casting Guy, I'd give the part to Rachel Leigh Cook. She'd definitely make a worth-the-price-of-admission-all-by-her-lonesome Catwoman.
Stupid though it may be, the new Catwoman outfit, with it's quasi-dominatrix/slashed jeans combo, has an endearing sort of 80s heavy metal charm. I wonder if she has big hair under that helmet.
I've always wondered about costumes like that. I mean, if I were going to go out and do/battle evil, wouldn't I want my abdomen covered? I mean, it's cold out there! Not only that, leather at least provides some protection. I could understand Anna Paquin in tight black leather as Rogue. That was cool. But Halle Berry needs to cover herself up a little more if she doesn't want nicks all over!
(And honestly. What woman can really run, fight, whatever in heels? I can barely walk in the darn things!)
Never. I repeat never will I see this movie. I don't care how great a story they have. That is the dumbest thing I have seen since AHhhhhnold as Mr. Freeze
Yeah, that costume looks crazy stupid. Halle Barry just isn't Cat Woman. Kind of like the way she wasn't really Storm. Storm needed to be Angela Bassett or Iman. What are these casting directors thinking?

And another thing... support!!!! That leather bra can't have that much support. And running without proper support is very painful. (I assume she runs.)
Sheesh.

Weighing in with Batman geek knowledge.
Patience Price is a completely, utterly and totally invented name pulled out of the fevered imaginings of some WB executive; because the Selina Kyle Catwoman may be used in one of the upcoming Batman films, and they might want to cast someone other than Berry in the role.
In which I fear she will mightily suck anyway.
Woe.
- Rich Needs more Cassandra Cain though

Ho, ho, ho to the bottle I go To heal my heart and drown my woe Rains may fall and winds may blow And many miles be still to go, But under a tall tree I will lie And watch the clouds go sailing by.
First Appearance: Batman #567 - Mark Of Cain (No Man's Land) Other information: Batgirl was either bought or kidnapped at birth by the master assassin Cain. He trained her in lethal combat day and night until she escaped from him about nine years ago after he had her kill a man. She then drifted into Gotham City on her own. Oracle found her and took her in. It was not long before she was given the Batgirl costume Huntress had worn before. At first, Cassandra had the inability to speak. Her language was that of body movement. This gave her an advantage in combat since she was able to read her opponents' moves before they were made. An encounter with a Metahuman changed her life since he allowed her to understand English. After a while, Batman gave Batgirl her own Batcave, which is where she lives now. Recently, she not only learned to speak after much practice, she also defeated Shiva, the best martial artist and most deadly assassin. Batgirl is also becoming a good friend of Spoiler, who trained under her for a while. With so much going on in her life, who knows what will happen next?

Like the man said.
She's got a great vibe with the No Man's Land Catwoman as well - their chemistry would make for a nice film, IMO.
No doubt it will be some kind of awful suckfest though
