Sounds like you did great. I couldn't do it b/c I don't sing, but otherwise, gravvy.
I guess you don't need tips, but when I do stuff (and I do quite often, believe it or not), I generally take the approach that nothing bad's gonna happen. Drop a line? Big deal, whatever, it's all good. Just make sure you don't drop the f-bomb onstage.
