I have to admit, this is a lot better modernization of the Catholic Church than the Buddy Christ.

WARNING: Known side effects include sleeplessness and hopeless addiction. www.websudoku.comFill in the blanks, 1-9 vertically, horizontally, and in each cell. Our local newspaper just started to carry this next to the crossword puzzle, and my entire family has been fighting for time on the computer ever since. It's like that episode of Star Trek where everyone on the ship gets addicted to that video game? Yeah. I understand sudoku has a pretty sizable internet following, but for those who've yet to discover it, indulge and enjoy. Al

Just wanted to pass on this link to you guys: www.softwareoutlet.comI was searching for some cheap(er) virus protection software for our church computers, and this place popped up on my Google search. I got new versions of McAfee VirusScan for only $5 apiece! The site swears up and down that they don't do anything illegal in procuring the software, that it's all legal (and they've been open for 14 years, so I'm inclined to believe them). Really incredible deals on a lot of different titles. The McAfee came today as promised; no boxes, but the software and instructions are included, so that's good.

With Halloween coming up... www.retrocrush.com/costumes/The Worst Costumes of All Time. My favorite is the the Small Wonder one. Some of the commentary is a little racy, be warned.

****Spolier Alert for the Link above****
That's so lame, the illusion of 'mind reading' by giving you a new giant list of numbers that all ALWAYS match up to the same symbol no matter what number you choose. Like if you pick 23. 2+3=5, so 23-5=18. Pick 93, 9+3=12 and so 93-12=81. As it turns out, the answer to all of these is ALWAYS a mutliple of 9, so then they just make SURE that all the multiples of 9, 18 and 81 for example always have the same symbol. LAME-O. This is the same kind of psychology that John Edwards and all those other jerks that Penn and Teller expose use. They trick people into thinking that they know what they don't know. Then the people buy into all their other junk and base their lives on a lie.
Luckily for us, this man has just designed this for a little giggle, and not to scam people. So much cannot be said for all those 'mediums' out there.
