Well, to clarify, I know it's not a good movie, but it is one that I enjoy nonetheless. And wish that more people would spread the word about. Plus it's one of the more quotable movies of recent years, at least among my circle of friends.

So, will we get to see the winning drawing, as well as the runner-up? please? pretty please?;D
I wanted to try this contest, really wanted to, but had a hard time pulling anything from Rich's list of reviewed movies. Of the few on the list that I've seen, I couldn't think of any scenes that didn't require me to draw stick figures. An artiste I am not...
But, I look forward to next month's contest, maybe I'll be able to participate in that one!

Meh, I tried, but I couldn't draw things the way I wanted them to look. I'm too much of a perfectionist and too horrible of an artist. Mine was gonna be a split screen of Morpheus jumping from one building to another in "The Matrix" on the left, and an empty Christmas present box in the other. But alas, I suck at computer imagery.

I'd also venture it might have been a bit time-consuming of an assignment. It sounds cool, but there's so much other stuff that needs doing in life.... I thought of doing one just for fun, and simply didn't have the time.

I really wasnt looking for masterpeices; in fact, shoddy drawing is what MSPaint is all about. Ah well, back to the drawing board (pun). - Rich |

Clogging, is it? No response for you tomorrow. I didn't disappear, honest - the thing is that first my darling work Gods decided to block all forums from the work computers (and I spend 95% of my waking hours at work, no joke), and then second my home computer developed something nasty.  It's not actually fixed, but the new one arrives next week. In the mean time, it takes me fifteen minutes at a time to type a simple message like this, and that takes all the fun out of it. BUT...when that new computer gets here, with its shiny new gigabytes and super fast stuff, I am going to be a keyboard woman!!! ;D And a smiley fanatic.  |
