They pretty much cancelled Arrested Development, cutting down season 3 to 13 episodes and shelving it for the time being.
I hate Fox. So. Much.

See this is why I'm a deist, and believe that while there IS a God, that he is no longer an active force in our world. Because if he WAS, tragedies like this would never happen.  |

Somehow I find it more reassuring to think that there IS a God, but that she is far too busy to bother with television schedules.

I have mixed feelings- I feel bad that all of the AD fans are out of luck, but happy that Scrubs now has no competition as the best show on TV.  In all seriousness, though, sorry, Fearless Leader. I'll ashamedly admit that it's one of those shows I always meant to check out but never quite got around, so my reaction is likely to be the same as it was with Wonderfalls- mild disappointment at the actual time of cancellation, followed months later by my getting the DVD and becoming outraged. "How DARE they cancel this great show!?! Years ago!?" -D |

Just in case my wife happens to stumble across this thread... I've heard a lot of great things about Arrested Development, and think it would make a nice XMas gift  Oh, and speaking of Scrubs... just got my confirmation today... season 2 is on its way to our mailbox ;D |

I've been mad at Fox since Head Cases got a two show run...and now AD is going...going...sigh.

Fox has a murderous track record of great shows being cancelled too quickly.
Firefly
Undeclared
The Tick
Futurama
Family Guy Mark I
Arrested Development
Of those, I've got 5 on DVD now. Still painful though. The Sopranos was supposed to be on Fox originally. Thank God (couldn't resist) it went to HBO to flourish. Hopefully AD moves to another network, because it is really popular amongst yuppies, and just about anyone else who has seen it.

Firefly should without a doubt be on Sci-Fi, because it's just the perfect place for that type of show, but the rest of them should be on HBO. HBO is one of the few places that still makes good shows that actually stay. If AD gets on there somehow then I will be convinced that there is a god.
