Before You, Me and Dupree the other night (hey, I was seeing it for free, okay?) I saw a trailer for The Prestige. Hugh Jackman and Christian Bale being fighting illusionists in Olde Englande, and it's also got Michael Caine, Scarlett Johanssen, Andy Serkis and David freakin' Bowie. I'm reading the book it's based on right now and it's really good, though I suspect they'll have changed a LOT for the movie.

For the record, I really liked You, Me and Dupree. It was pretty a pretty by the numbers comedy but I laughed out loud from beginning to end.

Not exactly a new movie, but few seem to know about it. howstuffworks.com/quicktime/wowhires.movWar of the worlds, the alternative version that is allegedly as close to the original novel as possible. I want to see it. I kind of liked Steven Spielburgs variant, but if they had held on more to the source material it coud have been so very much better. www.thewaroftheworldsmovie.net/

I'm not entirely sure about everyone else, but I'm looking forward to Crank. www.worstpreviews.com/review.php?id=335There is a link to a site with a synopsis, a trailer and a short clip from the movie.

Check this one out: www.gofishpictures.com/casshern/casshern_main.htmlI own the DVD and it's pretty damn good. But boy does it need a 30-foot screen and nice surround sound to do it justice. I really hope it actually does hit the US theaters. Also check out this one: www.rottentomatoes.com/m/eye/trailers.phpThis is one of my favorite horror films of all time. I do have to say though that this trailer doesn't really do the film justice interms of the mood that it creates. It really needs to be seen. I could have sworn that the Mutants had reviewed it but I cannot seem to find the review at the moment

I've said it before & I'll say it again: that trailer converted me. I am really looking forward to the new Bond.

That does loot hot. I just hope they got better script writers this time around. The last film was just horrible interms of dialoge.

It looks like the script won't be a problem. I doubt it'll win any Oscars, but it won't be bad, I don't think. I just want so much to love Casino Royale that it is killing me that it might be a bad movie. I'm really waiting on this movie: www.comingsoon.net/films.php?id=12330I want to have Frank Miller's babies...
