It had better be pretty fantastic to match LW&W, but it looks amazing. Two quibbles from the trailer:
Did they drop the frame story with Trumpkin telling them about Caspian?
I NEVER saw Caspian as that old. Certainly he's that old in Dawn Treader, but this actor's 26! I always saw him as around Peter and Susan's ages, especially when he's being tutored.

Yeah, I'm not sure what's up. I read somewhere that the filmmakers wanted Caspian to be more around Peter Pevensie's age, but it seems like they overshot a bit. And I suppose for the sake of making the movie flow well they might have to drop the framing story. But maybe it'll be okay...

I know nothing of Narnia. I probably wouldn't have seen any of them. However, now that I know one of them is named Caspian, the same name as my Chemistry Professor, it is now my sworn OATH that this series join the likes of DDR and the third season of Robotech to never, ever touch ANY one of my senses, including the 6th one. That said and as so not to derail - That Nightcrawler movie about people who think they're Nightcrawler has a pretty decent trailer. I'm still watching the Superman Begins trailer on youtube. I have yet to watch the entire movie... but this is one bad ass trailer, man. |
