Lordmoon, I've come to the conclusion that if our movie tastes were to one day meet each other in a party, they would end up leaving the party together.
10) The Godfather Part 2 9) Serenity 8) Fight Club 7) Dogma 6) Pulp Fiction 5) The Godfather 4) Reservoir Dogs 3) The Princess Bride 2) Romeo+Juliet 1) High Fidelity
Those are in no particular order.

10. The Thing 9. Fight Club 8. Goodfellas 7. Spirited Away 6. Sin City 5. The Crow 4. What Dreams May Come 3. South Park: Bigger Longer Uncut 2. The Usual Suspects 1. Battle Royale

My list of movies is organic and free-range. You can't tie it down!
Also, I couldn't even begin to start. I think the major problem with this sort of this is the many degrees of favourite. Emotional ties? Funny? Outlandish? Are we going with story, or being able to play with the form? Technical genius? Acting? Dialogue? Too many choices!

I don't really get why fight club is in almost every list! So dissapointing.
Edit: I really need to learn how to spell dissappointing.

How about my new top 10 favorites (i.e. movies I've seen in the past couple years, not necessarily dethroning older favorites)?
1. Millions 2. Wallace & Gromit in The Curse of the Were-Rabbit 3. Tae Guk Gi: The Brotherhood of War 4. Freaked 5. Eurotrip 6. Sin City 7. Batman Begins 8. MirrorMask 9. Serenity (it grows on you) 10. Oldboy (mixed recommendation, but still an incredible film)
