Borat: The funniest movie ever made?

I'm surprised no one has made a thread about this amazing movie yet...

None the less, this is such a good movie I don't know where to being. A lot of critics are saying it is the funniest movie ever....is this true? For once, I MIGHT agree with the critics.
This movie is one side splitting laugh after another, not just chuckle after chuckle, but hard laugh after hard laugh after large guffaw. I can't really say this is the "funniest movie ever", because it is just so unique I almost can't compare it to any other movie ever made. It has every kind of comedy...political satire, gross out, clever, weird humor, everything! This movie is "da bomb"!

I already kinda mentioned how I felt about it in the "My Suggestions" thread. In short: hilarious, though disturbing. Not the funniest movie ever made, but probably the funniest I've seen this year.

I also agree with what a friend of mine said, which is that everyone should be required to say the movie's full title before being allowed to buy a ticket- Borat!: Cultural Learnings of America for Make Benefit Glorious Nation of Kazakhstan.

(EDIT: I'd also imagine that Jewish people who don't realize Sasha Baron Cohen is himself a devout Jew will be incredibly offended.)

I knew we talked about it in my suggestions but I figured it needed a thread to do justice...

Yeah, what irks me is that a bunch of idiots at school are saying "it sucked because it was so gross and offensive" yet they are all saw 3/texas cahinsaw: the beginning loving morons...not sure why people at my school ever like good movies, not matter how hard they try. Oh wait, I do know, they only like spoon fed trash and any shred of intelligence in a film is horrible!

I'll admit that I have yet to see this film but some of the previews have left a bad taste in my mouth. For instance the clip of him bathing out of a toilet and carrying around live chickens in his suitcase were particularly bad. I'm sure that underneath it all this film is some sort of metaphor for the way we live in America or something but 90% of the people what will see this movie are going to instead think that's the way the people of Kazakhstan really are.

Having moved here from Ukraine I have seen the type of impression films like this leave on the general public concerning a foreign way of life. I will eventually rent this movie but currently I have no desire to pay theater prices to be proved wrong.
