7 more days until TMNT is unleashed on the public. Let's try to get as many posts up until the actual release date. After that, feel free to post reviews, criticisms and whatnot.

Results from TMNT2 night with Clare:
1) I won a mutagenic ooze drinking contest in front of a theater full to the brim of Texans.
2) Clare, who had never seen TMNT2 before, definitely had a strong love for it. She particularly got enthusiastic when Vanilla Ice took the screen.
3) The host and the t-shirt shop guy had seen an advance screening of the new TMNT CGI movie, and the word is extremely good. Dark enough to nearly push the PG13 and much closer to the original form of the TMNT, with a decent helping of fun in there. I'm set!

When you were a kid, playing Ninja Turtles on the playground (for those of us young/old enough to have done that without it being creepy), which one were you?
I always wanted to be Leonardo. Or as I like to call him, the Cyclops of the Ninja Turtles.

I had these pretty sweet yellow overalls, so I was permitted to be April even though I was awkward and not pretty. It may have also had something to do with my not caring about getting completely and totally filthy or, you know, bleeding. Plus, the rest of the girls were playing four square, because they were lame.
Also- I'm a little dissapointed that Cory Feldman won't be featured as the voice of Donatello.

I generally tried to make up my own character, because I wanted to be an animal person. When I was that age I wasn't allowed to watch cartoons, so I didn't know about any female characters other than April. It was sort of like live action fanfic.

Oh great, I'm weird for being a male turtle instead of a female reporter (or female original character) ain't I? Of course, that should really come as no surprise I guess. That I'm weird that is.

The boys I played with never let me play Ninja Turtles because I was a girl. But if I could play, I always wanted to be Donatello.

I was always Michelangelo and my friend Jesse was always Donatello. Since there was nobody else in the neighborhood our age, Raphael and Leonardo were evil turtles who had actually sided with Shredder all along! Oh, the drama!

We always had the empty slots be too injured after a fight or poisoned, then go and avenge our fallen comrades or get the antidote. OR they were kidnapped and we had to go save them. Either way we'd get a toy of the appropriate Ninja Turtle and put him wherever he was supposed to be, depending on the circumstance.
