The highly misunderstood and maglined Sci-fi horror movie that didn't deserve all the flack, because people just never understood it. You see folks, Michael Myers died in "Halloween 2" because John Carpenter had enough of Myers for the character was burning in the hospital at the end and was sent to hell, Carpenter with Dino De Laurentiis Studios and Debra Hill had a concept to make the franchise into a big screen horror anthology each telling different horror stories about the title holiday halloween and not Michael in the tradition of "Creepshow", "The Twilight Zone" or "Tales from The Crypt.
Unfortunately the concept blew in Carpenter's face when it bombed in theaters and fans demanded Michael, thus the anthology idea ended and Michael returned six years later in "Halloween 4". I thought this was an interesting movie that combines occult horror and technological sci-fi with a intriguing plot, don't get me wrong i do love the original Halloween plus 2, 4 and H2O but this was a brave and interesting twist to the series that could have been interesting if it wasn't for the fans.

you know, i was all about to post a link to my mutant review of 'halloween 3' to say "hey, brother: you're not the only one who digs it. i dig it, too! tom atkins forever!"
imagine my surprise when i went to my review and found out i kind of trashed the movie. how crazy! i guess the movie really grew on me, since i think of it fondly at this point but obviously didn't think much of it when i reviewed it.
yeah, though. i agree with this dude's perspective on h3. quite a lot of fun!

Do you think the anthology idea would have worked?
