Did anybody else see this? I know it didn't last long in theaters (at least in my neck of the woods). I thought that the performances were great (except for Justin Timberlake) and the story was unique. Sam Jackson singing the blues alone is definitely worth your $5 for a rental one day (if you can't still catch it in theaters).

My friend saw it last week. He said one of the reasons it was very good was because Samuel L. Jackson actually played a character with some depth for once. I should rent Hustle & Flow also directed by Craig Brewer.

It only opened 11 days ago nationwide... there's no way it's really already left theaters, is there?

BUMP... just wondering if anybody else caught this one now that it's on DVD.
I know of a Mutant who watched it, but I don't know if there's going to be a review involved.
