I watched V last night....again.... and I have to wonder: am I crazy or is that Hugo Weaving standing in the crowd taking off a Guy Fawkes mask at the end? I would have rewind-paused it but it was on TV and I was too lazy to pop in the DVD, since I needed to go to bed. I've noticed all the dead characters, who are the last to take their masks off, but I had never seen Hugo Weaving before. Can someone help me out here?

I... was under the impression that Hugo Weaving played V. Well yes, yes he did (you haven't seen it, Drew?). However... SPOILERS!!!I think every innocent character who dies in the movie comes back in the unmasking scene. The girl with the spray can, Valerie, everybody except the governmental villains. So it wouldn't surprise me if they included a little cameo for Hugo Weaving, as it would represent an untainted V being present spiritually as well.As to whether that's actually there, I couldn't tell you. I'll have to look some time.

You know, I wathced it again, on DVD, and I am now rethinking my position. I believe it's just a guy that looks a bit like Hugo Weaving when you see him for the brief moment the camera moves over him. And yes, yes I know very heartily and fully well that Hugo Weaving played V. That movie is second only to the POTC movies in how many times I've watched it both in theaters and at home. ;D The fact that he played V is why I thought it would be so cool if he had a cameo at the end there. Oh well...
