Did anyone else see that crazy trailer with no name in front of Transformers? IMDb redirects to "Untitled JJ Abrams Project;" though apparently a movie with a 'fake working title' of Cloverfield. Beyond that, I can't find anything. Does anyone know about this at all? Man, that looks cool. Or possibly like Godzilla. But I'm still all pumped up. |

I just saw transformers today and I REALLY want to know what that movie is. It seems like a documentary about a big honking critter end-of-the-world movie. I am SO there. By the way...
Transformers was seriously fun to watch.

I sure hope it was a trailer for 'The Dark Tower'... Transformers isn't even out yet in my country so I don't have the slightest idea of what this trailer looks like, but from what i can read about it here, it sure looks a lot like 'The Dark Tower'...
There have been rumours of JJ Abrams being involved in such a thing (thank you Justin). I can't really imagine how they're planning on fitting about 3000 pages of text into one movie, but who knows, maybe they'll make seven...
'The Dark Tower' is a story by Stephen King spread out over seven books, and it totally rocks. If you like to read, you should definitely check it out. If you don't like to read the mere sight of these books would probably make you run away screaming in a high-pitched voice something about 'never having seen so many words together in one place'

Oh, I'm all over the Dark Tower, and this definitely wasn't that. This is something more monster-movieish.
On a different note, welcome to the forums! Pull up a chair, grab a cup of coffee, and just try and step around Kyle. He usually doesn't regain consciousness for a few days after the holidays...

Oh, I'm all over the Dark Tower, and this definitely wasn't that. This is something more monster-movieish. Yeah... my first thought was that it sounded like giant lions. Except I don't know of anyone making a Voltron movie. But yeah, the trailer was intriguing. We'll see how it looks as more is revealed. -D |

Last I heard, Cloverfield was just the working title of whatever this project is. I find myself drawn into the mystery of it...which drives me crazy cuz I really hate being drawn into gimmicks. Stupid catchy gimmicks.
