Ello, long time no post but I just had to get this off my chest.
In the past month my neighborhood has been used as a set for no less than 4 movies/TV shows. From "Scrubs" to "The interpretors." Streets closed off, familar walls covered with signs "To Set". Lights and screens and fat teamsters and trucks blocking every sidewalk and park and making it impossible to get to the fargin grocery store. Last week they even shut down my subway stop for D'ofrino's "The Interpreter(sic?)." Thats the last straw, you hear me various studios! Get the hell out of my backyard!

P.S my neighborhood is the one heavily featured in the background of You've Got Mail...I'll note that the oh-so-cute hot dog join in it is really a slummy, sleezy watering hole for drunks and students. They also managed to turn that slightly green highway strip on the West Side Highway into "w81st park" But thats called movie magic, eh?

Reports of my death...yada yada I hope to stay around longer. Work has slowed down and I'm no longer taking these 2 month long trips overseas (note to the new mutants, I have been to both Amsterdam and London-York, I approve of both.) I've sort of cut myself off from pop culture, however. I've haven't been inside a theater since Return of the King and ever since Netflix, I get all my TV in the mail (why watch commericals when the series will be on DVD next year?) PLus, the movies I'm renting now are all To Have and Have Not and Auntie Mame...trying to give my self an edjumacation in cine-na-ma. On the other hand, I think I could write better responses to some flicks. Something a little more mature and well put together (and correctly spelled) then I have before (but not at a whole review length.) So, uh, yes I am back. For the time being. My New Website www.jleavitt.netAnd The New Me, at the Top of the Mark hotel in San Fransisco Danke dear Mutants. -Dna "One Year Later" Error

MAME=Multiple Arcade Machine Emulator.
A nifty little program that's highly conducive to low-level copyright fraud, and a shining example of someone trying too hard to make a catchy acronym.

DNAError, yous is awesome. (Sorry, I'm in a let's-use-weird-grammar mood.) I'll let you know that I was veddy sorry to see you go, even though it meant an opening for another Mutant. (And my application was OBVIOUSLY less than favorable, glare glower fume.)
Sorry, my liddle strange fanletter-turned-rant is now over. ;D

Wow, you've done such a wonderful job, DNA! That's a heck of a talent you've been given, my lad, make sure you use it well. Many congrats, and may many many people visit you! The world traveller returns, etc.
