OZ: Oh, hey! Animal cracker? WILLOW: No, thank you. How's your arm? OZ: Suddenly painless. WILLOW: You can still play the guitar okay? OZ: Oh, not well, but not worse. WILLOW: Y'know, I never really thanked you. OZ: Oh, yeah, please don't. I don't do thanks. I get all red. Have to bail. It's not pretty. WILLOW: Well, then forget that thing. Especially with the part where I kind of owe you my life. OZ: Oh, look! Monkey! And he has a little hat. And little pants. WILLOW: Yeah, I see! OZ: The monkey's the only cookie animal that gets to wear clothes, you know that? You have the sweetest smile I've ever seen. So, I'm wondering, do the other cookie animals feel sorta ripped? Like, is the hippo going, 'Hey, man, where are my pants? I have my hippo dignity!' And you know the monkey's just, 'I mock you with my monkey pants!' And there's a big coup in the zoo. WILLOW: The monkey is French? OZ: All monkeys are French. You didn't know that? WILLOW: No.
WILLO!: Hey. OZ: Hey. WILLOW: Do you guys, uh, have a gig tonight? OZ: Oh, no. Practice. See, our band's kinda moving towards this new sound where... we suck, so... practice. WILLOW: I think you guys sound good. OZ: Thanks. WILLOW: I bet you have a lot of groupies. OZ: It happens. Now, I'm living groupie-free nowadays. I'm clean. WILLOW: Oh. OZ: I'm gonna ask you to go out with me tomorrow night. And I'm kinda nervous about it, actually. It's interesting. WILLOW: Oh. Well, if it helps at all, I'm gonna say yes. OZ: Yeah, it helps. It-it creates a comfort zone. Do you wanna go out with me tomorrow night? WILLOW: Oh! I can't! OZ: Well, see, I like that you're unpredictable.

Spike: You're not friends. You'll never be friends. You'll be in love 'til it kills you both. You'll fight, and you'll shag, and you'll hate each other 'til it makes you quiver, but you'll never be friends. Love isn't brains, children, it's blood, blood screaming inside you to work its will. I may be love's b****, but at least I'm man enough to admit it.
Buffybot: Angel's lame. His hair grows straight up, and he's bloody stupid.
Drusilla: I'm naming all the stars. Spike: You can't see the stars love, that's the ceiling. Also it's day. Drusilla: I can see them. But I've named them all the same name, and there's terrible confusion.
Willow: Buffy's like my best friend, and she's really special, plus, you know, a Slayer, that's a deal, and there's the whole bunch of us, and we have this group thing that kind of revolves around the slaying and I really want you to meet them and meet Buffy but I just sort of like having something that's just, you know, mine. I don't usually use that many words to say stuff that little. But do you get it at all? Tara: I do. Willow: Well, I should check in with Giles, get a situation update. Tara: I am, you know. Willow: What? Tara: Yours.
Xander: Uh-huh. Go away. Spike: Now why would I do that when it's bugging you so much having me here? They have chicken wings, too. Also, a sort of a flower-shaped thing made from an onion. It's brilliant. Xander: Are you talking to me hoping that I'll get so depressed that I'll impale myself on a fork right in front of you? Spike: Lovely thought. If I don't hurt you myself, the chip won't zap me. I could eat you that way, beats the onion thing to Hell.
Tara: I go online sometimes, but everyone's spelling is really bad, and it's depressing.
There are sooooooooooooooo many more good quotes

I am affraid i don't remember any good quotes from Buffy. Despite the fact that just about every episode has some piece of dialogue where i think, i really need to remember that...

Xander: "Harmony has minions?"
That one has always been a favorite of my friend and myself.
there are a lot more, but sadly I cannot seem to remember any that well. I hate when that happens.

My favorite bits are all sight gags. For instance:
Xander rummaging through Buffy's purse for a stake and finding a tampon instead. His reaction is utterly male.
Actual size. The fear demon at the Halloween party.
Buffy's dismay at the size of her hips in Giles' transparency presentation about the Gentlemen.
Spike tackling Buffy as she tries to kill Principal Wood with a grenade launcher and Buffy chasing after him.
But for excellent quotes, no one beats the mayor. But the quote I'll put here is actually from Principal Snyder: "What is it? Avant-garde?"

Actually one of my favorite jokes is from that scene too. It's after Giles puts up the "What do they want?" transparency on the projector. Willow or Buffy, I don't remember which one, points two her chest and Xander mouthes "Boobies?" with a confused look on his face making a cupping motion with his hands against his chest. hahahahahaha Gets me every time I see it.

And now you've got me started...
Xander (in regards to Buffy's crush Owen): Yes, he has a certain Owenosity about him...
Vamp Willow: Look at me, I'm all fuzzy.
Willow: Oh right, me and Oz play "Mistress of Pain" every night. Buffy: Did anyone else just go to a scary visual place? (Xander raises his hand)
Angel: When I kiss you, you don't wake up and live happily ever after! Buffy: No. When you kiss me...I want to die.
Andrew: Buffy, Slayer of the vahm-TEXTpyrsTEXT.
Drusilla (giggling): The king of cups is having a party...but it is not his birthday! Darla: Yeah. Right.
Xander (to Giles): Well excuse me, Mr. I-Spent-the-Sixties-in-an-Electric-Kool-Aid-Funky-Satan-Groove! Giles: It was the seventies, and you should know better!
Giles: We few, we happy few... Spike:...we band of buggered.
BuffyBot (re Spike) He's evil. But you should see him naked! Really!

Andrew: Buffy, Slayer of the vahm- TEXTpyrs TEXT. Hehehe... methinks you need a little practise with the italics button.

Tara: I go online sometimes, but everyone's spelling is really bad, and it's depressing. I can relate to that. And i am Swedish. My english may be above average but my spelling and grammar is hardly perfect. But still, the spelling online is depressing. And that thing they call leetspeak? Makes a fork through the heart seem like a good idea... I'm going to get a fork. And i will be David, the illiterate idiot slayer!

Methinks I might, oh mighty Poolman. We librarians don't have to deal with text buttons very often; we're too busy adding monstrous late fees to the records of people who annoy us.
In the interest of keeping the thread semi-on-topic...
Willow (re her college Wicca group): Bunch of wanna-blessed-bes.

This is without a doubt my favorite monologue from any Buffy ep. Spike to Buffy in "Touched":
"You listen to me. I've been alive a bit longer than you. And dead a lot longer than that. I've seen things you couldn't imagine. And done things I prefer you didn't. I don't exactly have a reputation for being a thinker... I follow my blood... which doesn't exactly rush in the direction of my brain. So I make a lot of mistakes. A lot of wrong bloody calls. A hundred plus years and there's only one thing I've ever been sure of -- you. "
(He reaches out to touch her cheek; she pulls away)
"Hey, look at me. I'm not asking you for anything. When I say I love you, it's not because I want you or because I can't have you. It has nothing to do with me. I love what you are... what you do... how you try. I've seen your kindness and your strength. I've seen the best and the worst of you. And I understand with perfect clarity exactly what you are. You're a hell of a woman. You're the one, Buffy."
