*sigh* its the end of an era...
It may not have been as 'smart' as seinfeld, but I'd be lying if I said this show didn't consistently make me laugh. The final ep. was good... I'm glad Ross and Rachel ended up together

You can tell the hopeless romantics who were vainly trying to remain cool and cynical from everybody else, because we're the ones who were scoffing and saying, "Come on, you know there's NO WAY they won't end up together," yet got a huge smile on our faces anyway when we heard her say, "I got off the plane." You know, you can call it overrated, you can call it hopelessly mainstream and unrealistic, you can call it less intelligent than the Simpsons or Seinfeld, and yeah, you'd be right about all those things... but it still was a damn fun little show. As someone who, when the show started, couldn't imagine the mid-20's independent lifestyle the characters were living and mostly tuned in for the monkey, and now finds himself a 23-year-old strangely able to relate to where they were 10 years ago, I gotta say... I'll miss it. Good times.
"What are you so happy about?" "I, uh... grabbed a spoon."
[So, anybody catch the Tonight Show afterward? Possibly the first time I've ever laughed at something on Leno's show, but the celebrities' reactions to the end of Friends were pretty good. Well, some of them. Kevin Smith's claim that his habit of lurking outside Courtney Cox's house and dropping trou whenever she came out was the inspiration for "Ugly Naked Guy" was funny, anyway.]

Yeah the tonight show was pretty funny... though on leno, the segments where he shows cutouts from newspapers usually makes me laugh.
But yeah... friends was a great show. If I had the money I'd buy the DVDs, haha

*sigh* its the end of an era... I Know! Yeah I watched the final episode. I thought they did a good job ending the series. The Tonight Show was hilarious. I really liked all the celebrities claiming to be a part of the series. My favorite was Tarantino's. Saying he directed a pilot where there were 25 friends but he killed 19 of them off in the first 10 minutes.
