From IMDb: Buffy Resurrected in Animation Defunct TV show Buffy The Vampire Slayer is set to be resurrected as a cartoon. Although Sarah Michelle Gellar will not reprise her leading role in the new series, creator Joss Whedon has reportedly recruited Giselle Loren - the video-game voice of Buffy - to speak for her in the pilot. Cast members Alyson Hannigan, Nicholas Brendon and Anthony Stewart Head are returning to voice the animated versions of their characters. Sweetness. I'll be sure to check it out. Also for those of us who like comic books. Joss Whedon is writing the Astonishing X-Men book. The first issue came out this month. Not bad so far.

Agreed; I'm not a huge Buffy fan, but the first AXM issue was definitely enjoyable. Seeing Kitty (AKA much of the inspiration for Buffy) trade barbs with the White Queen was worth the price of admission alone. "So nice of you to show up on time, dear." "I'm sorry, I was busy remembering to put on all my clothes." Zing! ;D (Between that and Uncanny, Emma really took some verbal hits last month...) -D
