I was reading USA Today just before the weekend, and noticed that FOX is looking to set up a 24-hour reality TV channel. But, here's the kicker... apparently, there are three 24/7 reality TV channels in the works. THREE. <sigh> I know that there's been a glutton of these shows on TV lately... but enough to support multiple channels?
The only saving grace is that this could mean more opportunities to see some of the "World's Scariest Police Chases" specials. Bring on the guy who stole the tank!!! ;D

aww I thought this was about the underrated winona ryder movie.
Anyway, my position is that the original Survivor was a BRILLIANT concept, but all the ripoffs are retarded. And I like American Idol too.

I've always wondered how many of those cops needed an underwear change after the tank incident. But to get back on the original subject, I have this ugly feeling that the networks have brought it on themselves for not being willing to take risks with creative sitcoms, dramas and such that don't fit the cookie-cutter, lets's-just-do-what-worked-before, mentality. Either that, or they've scared all the real writers away. How many Law and Order deriviatives, or post-mortem oriented shows (CSI-Dubuque anyone?) do we really need? Of course, they say adult reading is way down in the U.S., so maybe masses of people happily tuning in to watch some chick from Albuquerque scarfing down bunny noses is what we reap from that.

Did anyone in a reality show ever refer to the camera man? Cause if you ask me that would make it seem a lot more realistic to me: TOM: That's it I've had enough of this crap! I'm going to the swimming pool. Wanna come with Cameraman CAMERAMAN: Sure. (Tom and Cameraman leave)

That should be a reality show there. Cameramen. Stranded without cameras or such.
