Just a heads up to anyone who's as big a fan of cult 80s/90s kids shows as I am- all 19 episodes of Eerie, Indiana are collected in one DVD set now. (Well, they were before, but it was yanked from shelves after about a day and started going for 200 bills on eBay... yikes. Anyway, now it's out again.) Pretty darn cheap, too- only $20-25 for the whole set. Granted, there's no real special features to speak of, but if all you're looking for is the episodes, you're golden.
For those who never saw it, the show was kind of a junior version of The Twilight Zone. Marshall (Omri Katz) moves with his parents and sister from New Jersey (fools) to Indiana so the children can have a "safe, normal" childhood. Unfortunately, Eerie happens to be the center of weirdness for the universe, which Marshall and his friend Simon investigate every episode. Shows dealt with such subjects as giant tupperware containers used to keep people young, werewolves, Bigfoot, stuff like that. I actually haven't seen any episodes in over a decade (busy moving, haven't had a chance to open the set yet), but I remember loving them as a kid. Now, if we can only get The Adventures of Pete & Pete on DVD...
(On an unrelated note, the same random trip to Best Buy that led me to find Eerie also revealed another treasure: Greg the Bunny now available on DVD. Woohoo!)

Eerie Indiana used to scare the daylights outta me. The one with the eye doctor turning kids into pod people gave me nightmares for about a week. It's good to know it's out; once I have the cash to buy these things again, it's definitely joining the collection.
Al -ditto on Greg the Bunny

I remember this was the awesomest show on tv back when I was younger, and probably directly contributed to my fascination with the X-Files. I'll have to ask for this one for Xmas, and pray that it will slide in with the Star Wars Trilogy and Clerks X. It's gonna be a geeeeeeeky Christmas!!!

Thanks for that news...It is so time for Pete & Pete to come to DVD! On the same note, is Freakylinks out on DVD yet? I liked me that show.
