I was unsure about the show as well, but the musical number was enough to convince me it's worth watching at least one more episode.

there was a music number? ?? man i was tired. the parts where toot cut herself over and over almost ruined the show for me. i really think xander is cool.

Loved it! ;D And now for an explanation of the parody for those of you that might not get them: Warning: The following character descriptions may contain offensive terms and ideas, this is because while there is the obvious level of what these characters are parodies of, I also noticed a second darker level of social commentary. This second level will always be the last part of the equation. - Captain Hero - Generic Superhero + College frat guy
- Princess Clara - Disney Princess + W.A.S.P. (look it up kiddies!)
- Ling Ling - Pikachu + Warlord from a Chinese Soap Opera
- Foxxy Love - Josie and the Pussycats + Every minority woman on the Real World + a blaxploitation-era nymphomaniac
- Spanky Ham - a Pig + Adam Corolla + Crass online cartoon, like Penny Arcade
- Xandir - Generic video game hero: Any hero from a fantasy game + Mario Mario + a token closeted gay guy (NEVERENDING quest to find his girlfriend? hmmm...)
- Toot Braunstein - Betty Boop + all the whiny, low self esteem b!@#$es from ALL of the Real World episodes
- Wooldoor Sockbat - Spongebob Squarepants + EVERY annoying Disney sidekick EVER
Keep in mind that these are my opinion and reflect only the experience of watching the first episode. I COULD be wrong.... improbable, but possible

I hate the Real World and all its derivivtives with a passion, and I watched Drawn together with my room mate who watches that Real World pabulum with a devotion to put Trekkies to shame....I liked Drawn together and he didn't. Said it was stupid. I didn't bother to tell him it's exactly like every episode of the Real World I ever saw him watch, except this has better pacing and jokes.

blade with ur descriptions it makes a little bit more sense. but i still hate toot, wooldoor and spanky. i think they're completely useless characters to the storyline
especially spanky, he does NOTHING. but neither does wooldoor. and i think just one show in life could do without a toot character. if i wanted to see that i'd watch day time telivision. bleeeeeechhhh USELESS CHARACTER ALERT WEEEOOOOWEEEEEEOOOOOOWEEEEEOOOOO!!!!!!!
when will directors understand they can just leave the (bitchy) character out for once. one person hellbent on destroying whatevers going on gets old after a while.
and i dont think xanders gay. but i do understand why he was saying NEVERENDING now. i thought it was just a joke. but i guess i dunno. the thing is he seemed pretty cool. but he was brushing toot off. but toot is also insane.
i think he hasnt met the right chick yet.......
