I'd just like to point out to all you people voting for Bladestarr that he's not going to get re-instated and that's that.
Corruption and Scandal have no place in this DeMAYcracy.
Also, I am giving my official endorsement to Magill because I want to see the Dinosaur Re-enactment Photos.

[soapboax] I would also like to extend my personal thanks to all who voted for me. Even though apparently this democracy has a one strike rule without hope for redemption or appeal, I am overjoyed at the great show of public support. This gives me hope that maybe my true political party (the Libertarian Pary lp.org ) has a chance when people begin to vote their hearts, rather than voting for a winner. It's not a horse race people! And remember too that when you vote for the 'lesser of two evils' you are still voting for evil! The thing I love most about democracy is that it allows people to express their opinion. While it may be rule by majority much of the time (except in this case and that of Florida 2000), it still lets everyone show where their heart lies. No third party vote is wasted, because when everyone shows their support for the candidate that expresses their ideals, instead of 'voting for a winner', then that display of public opinion will change the policies and stances for future elections to come. If people keep voting for the Socialists or the Green Party year after year, then others will take notice and adopt similar policies to try to attract those voters. So even though there probably will not be a Libertarian president for at least the next 20 years, by voting for a Libertarian candidate each year I am showing everyone (including the other politicians) what issues and stances matter to me. And in the end, that is all democracry is, rule by opinion, not by majority. And that is what freedom is all about., Thank you for your support. [/soapbox]

But BladeStarr, even independent parties have to follow election rules. You shouldn't whine about getting thrown out of the race when you violated clearly stated rules.
I'll start putting photos up this evening. Does anyone have an image server I could use? I would appreciate your help and your aid in no way means that I expect your vote. Though it would be nice.

(or rather, nothing will stop in our conquest of a primordial Earth. Where the worst obstacle is that bunch of really smart spider monkeys. Yeah.)
Paid for by the victims and plundees of the DinoRiders party. DINORIDERS! ATTTTTAAAACCKKKK!!!

All true democracies have a court of appeals that allow the laws to remain flexible given the situation. However, in the end, it is Rich's poor eyes and ears which will be subjected to the misery, so it is really his choice as benevolent dictator. Besides, just because I've earned twice as many votes as any other candidate (even though I was thrown out of the race on a technicality), doesn't mean that I should win. ;D The devil is in the details

Here's the first bit that goes toward fulfilling my campaign pledge. The arrow points to yours truly.: I will continue to add photos for each place that I go up in the standings. I guess I'm really banking that you want to see 18 year old pictures of me.Paid for by friends and supporters of the Dino-Reenactment Party.

If that's the case, I'm sure Rich would make some sort of concession. On a completely unrelated note: You mention Rene Descartes on your website, and I've been wondering for some time now if that's his stony head you've got as your avatar.

No, I just get bugged when I'm penalized for not following a rule that I feel is unneccessary. Was he trying to create a role-playing situation? If so, he should have made mention of that from the start. Otherwise, I default to casual conversation style.

IT'S OVER[/i][/u] The returning officer announces that the winner for the Month of May is... Al, and his Denver The Last Dinosaur PartyCongratulations Al, you now get to select a film for me to watch and review, bearing in mind the 3 rules: 1) I've not reviewed it before 2) I can feasibly see it either at the cinema or from my local BlockBuster 3) Its not Brazil. So, feel from to email, PM me, or post here if you wish, and congratulations again. No, I just get bugged when I'm penalized for not following a rule that I feel is unneccessary. Was he trying to create a role-playing situation? If so, he should have made mention of that from the start. Otherwise, I default to casual conversation style. Look, I'm sorry if you don't like the rules, but it's not like they weren't there in the first post of the thread. I make nonsensical rules because, well, I'm going to have to sit through whatever garbage someone selects at my own cost, so if I want to make people jump through hoops a little, I will. All part of the completely free otherwise service, I'm afraid. Also, Hucklbubba managed to get himself disqualified as well - don't think I didn't notice
