I want my MTV!

I was just watching The N last night, and I ended up feeling very nostalgic. Between Daria, Degrassi, My So-Called Life, and the R&B music videos, The N *IS* a friggin time capsule of my life as a teen in the 90s.

Anyways onto my main point, I want my MTV! My MTV animation that is. I want DVD box sets of the entire series of Daria, The Maxx, The Head, Aeon Flux and all those other great MTV animations. Liquid Television anyone? Who else wants to see these series brought to DVD?

Anyone else watch The N and feel the same nostalgia that I do? Am I alone out there? out there? out there?

You know, there weren't too many MTV shows I watched regularly -- I didn't dislike them, just never really got around to checking them out -- but I would kill every last one of you and burn your villages to the ground for a DVD collection of The State. Rumors have been flying around for years, but it's still stuck in development limbo. Bummer.

The only 2 MTV shows I would watch were Daria and Beavis and Butthead. While I would love to get my hands on DVD boxsets of both these shows, it would be impossible to get Beavis and Butthead on DVD cause of how expensive it would be to buy the rights to all the songs and music videos they played on that show.

EDIT: *after visiting imdb* Ok, seems like they have B + B DVDs sans the music videos. That makes me saaaaaad
