Not to be confused with that god awful film with Sean Connery. 
I just watched the first two seasons of this brilliant brilliant British "comedy" and now it has become my mission in life to make sure everyone else in the world sees it.
Basically it's a series set in a strange village called Royston Vasey (The welcome sign says "You'll never leave!") and there are all these sketches that have an ongoing continuity (and eventually they begin to link up).
It's really dark though, and some people might not have the stomach for it. But it's just so hilarious at the same time. And the way the comedians create the tense and terrifying atmospheres is just so well done.
I'm serious. Watch it.
