Hey, theres been this new show on every Sunday night on fox called Free Ride. The story line has been done a million times but the show brings new life to the story. Its about a college graduate who after graduation doesn't know what to do with his life, so comes back to his hometown to see that everything has gone to hell. all the characters are great and likable but knowing fox it's going to be canceled really soon. I am hoping that if they do cancel it they make a movie version.

I ssaw commercials and was kind of ambivalant, but perhaps I'll check it out. There's not a whole lot else on Sundays.

I read in my local paper that the guy who created the show based the family (or the story in general, or something) on life here in Joplin MO.
First Trick My Truck, now this. Southwest Missouri represent!

What are you talking about?. Free ride is completley different. First off there are zero simialrities except for the eccentric parents.

I meant in the style of the show. The eccentricity is a big part of both shows, and the lack of a laught track. I don't really like the new show myself, it's the same style of comedy with dumber jokes and a poor plot premise.

This Show Got Cancelled. I am hoping the release the entire season on dvd. Im gonna Buy it if they do.
