It's a fun show, but I think I've yet to make it through an entire episode. It's just stressful. Imagine living in a parallel world where every single person you know is a standup comedian who talks like the Micro Machine Man.

Macaroni & Death summed up what I think about people who watch Gilmore Girls...so wise Macaroni, so wise.

There's something tremendously funny about the phrase "so wise macaroni." Just saying.
And I am eagerly anticipating the return of Battlestar Galactica (In October! Argh!) as well as the end of Lost Season 2, so the DVD can come out and I can finally watch all the episodes and get up to speed. I'm dreading the end of 24 this season and House, cuz then ther'll be nothing else on TV that I want to watch except Deal or No Deal and Sell This House.

Yeah,I am also anticipating Lost Season 2.There's just something about being stranded on a desert Island and Evangeline Lilly that really compells you.

I hate almost every single thing on TV, certainly almost every new show.
But... So NoTorious was so addictive for me, that I plan to buy it on DVD the day it's released in October. I watched all 9 episodes that aired on VH1.
And other than that, all I watch are re-runs. I used to watch Judging Amy re-runs psychotically in 2005. But 2006 was me hardly watching TV at all. This year, I've just been bouncing from re-run to re-run. Mostly I'm watching That 70's Show, The Nanny, Reno 911!, Will & Grace, and anything else I stumble upon that I can stand - Fairly Odd Parents, The Soup, Charmed, NYPD Blue, Sex in the City, The Golden Girls.
Oh, I think this early this year VH1 had a Flavor of Love marathon... And I immediately went crazy for it.

Well since Buffy/Angel ended and so did Farscape, there hasn't really been a lot on TV worth watching, so far as I am concerned. I tend to watch my DVDs more than anythng now. That said, there are one or two shows I watch religiously. The last two series of Doctor Who have been amazing and I urge any self-respecting sci-fi/fantasy fan to track down copies. The recent Battlestar Galactica show is a work of genius. I still watch Farscape SG-1 (Atlantis, not so much), which is still going well, I think. Despite cast changes and the like. It was never brilliant, but has always maintained a decent level of entertainement. That's a win in my book!

I tend to watch my DVDs more than anythng now. So do I. I got the complete Fawlty Towers and The Ben Stiller Show for Christmas and I've been watching a lot of those, as well as the first and third seasons of SpongeBob SquarePants. When I get tired of those, maybe I'll watch more regular TV. But regular TV isn't so hot. Just a bunch of overhyped new shows that aren't very good. And after awhile watching re-runs, you see repeat episodes too many times.

"Battlestar Galactica" is / was the best thing on TV in years. Incredibly clever, beautifully acted, looks amazing, well plotted, well paced and with barely a single dropped moment in the hours and hours of TV they produced. I can't think of another sci-fi series that comes close, apart from "Blakes Seven" (which had a couple of bad episodes and looked cheap as hell, although the scripts and acting were by and large better). I love it.
"Lost" I love too, but I have a few things to say about it. We're up to something like episode 10 of series 2 here in the UK, and aside from the end of the episode where the two groups are reunited, there's not been a single happy ending so far. It's getting to the point where I'm considering not bothering with the next episode (Charlie looks like he's going back on the heroin) because nothing nice ever happens to these people. For me to have the mental energy to make it through the series, something good needs to happen, and soon. This very slow drip-drip-drip of information about the Others, and the bunker, needs to speed up too- the pace worked for it in the first series but now they need to start moving the story on a little.

I actually sort of want to see Carnivalé. It looks different and strange. But I don't get HBO or Showtime, whatever channel it shows on.

Carnivalé is a good show. It is dark and edgy with a great sense of style and era. Kinda like Deadwood in that fashion.
However, it takes its sweet time to do anything and as great as a slow pace can be, there is such a thing as too slow (I'm looking at you Invasion!).
