**Spoilers**
Okay, I think I'm the only one on this board who watches Grey's Anatomy but seriously people, just hear me out! After watching the season finale who else is disappointed in Meredith? Please raise your hands. Yeah, me too. After last week's stinging speach to McDreamy stating, "you can't call me a whore!" why did she just do it with him in an observation room during the prom? Meredith, you're dead to me. Your behavior has left me so cold. ha ha ha, doncha just love how TV can whip you into a mood?

Meredith is the least interesting character on her own show. They should have killed her off during the bomb scare episode, then just kept her on as a posthumous but unseen narrator.

Reviving this thread to note that I now watch the show as well, thanks to my friend converting my wife with last season's cliffhanger ending. For the longest time I resisted, probably because I think it borrows more than a little thematically from Scrubs, and since the Emmy judges will ALWAYS choose a drama over a comedy if given the choice, that means it's taking awards out of Scrubs' pockets. (And also because I'm worried it'll replace Scrubs in my wife's affections, though she's assured me that she still does consider Scrubs the slightly better show.) But I finally buckled down and watched some of the repeats in recent weeks, and... yeah, it's actually quite good. The actress who plays Izzy is extremely talented, and so is most (all?) of the rest of the cast. I still won't watch House because from what I've seen, he's basically Dr. Cox minus all the fun, but I guess I'm an official Grey's Anatomy convert.
Elliot: Can't we just go home, put on our pj's and watch "Grey's Anatomy"? JD: I do love that show. It's like they've been watching our lives and just put them on TV.

I finally started watching this show when this season began, and I couldn't figure out why my aunt (who'd watched it before) was so confused, or why at the end of the show they had a promo for the episode we'd just watched. Here's why: CTV fouled up and aired the second episode of the season first. Man, am I annoyed. I still won't watch House because from what I've seen, he's basically Dr. Cox minus all the fun They put those bits in the ads the most because they convey what Fox thinks makes the show so kwazy, but it's very good - I'd recommend it highly.

Just found out McSteamy is played by the same actor who was Madrox the Multiple Man in X3. Weird... he seemed all tall and thin in that movie, but dude's definitely ripped in Grey's Anatomy.

I've been watching this show on DVDs now. It's entertaining, but I agree with Macaroni & Death that Meredith is totally the least likeable character. I wouldn't want her to get killed off cause she's essentially a catalyst for all the other interesting characters

oh, snap!
see, i must love annoying, unlikeable girls, because i think meredith is awesome!
that said: addison is about two hundred times more awesome than anyone else on the show. i also enjoy callie.
hmm, this post makes me come across as shallow. which i don't think is the case. i think it's a wonderful show, and i wish it wasn't set up against 'the oc' because then i could tape grey's while i'm at work, but 'the oc' gets my vote every time (it's back, baby!).
actually, i'm not sure what the BEST show on television is right now. i would say 'house' except without the towering talent of hugh laurie, i'm not sure how strong the show would be. whereas grey's manages an incredibly complex interweaving of plots and emotions week in and week out. it's very impressive.
hmm, i dunno. i admit that i think they purposely try to make meredith into the least likeable character on the show, but that's fairly realistic in an unique way. i can dig it!

that said: addison is about two hundred times more awesome than anyone else on the show. i also enjoy callie. Does it seem like Callie is slimming down and "glamming up" this season? I'm pretty sure she is... it was especially noticeable last episode. Lady Luck and I were wondering if the actress chose to do so after she got upgraded from "guest star" to "recurring character" between seasons. hmm, this post makes me come across as shallow. which i don't think is the case. i think it's a wonderful show, and i wish it wasn't set up against 'the oc' because then i could tape grey's while i'm at work, but 'the oc' gets my vote every time (it's back, baby!). Heh... you want to talk? Scrubs just started again on Thursdays at 9:00, which means the best medical show on TV is up against the second-best. The wife and I have to choose between those two, plus she likes C.S.I. and The O.C. That makes 4, but our DVR can only record 2 shows and watch a third. What do you do, hotshot? WHAT DO YOU DO?!-D

So Lady Luck and I were watching a Scrubs repeat on Comedy Central tonight, and there was a scene where they tried to save the lives of some patients who'd gotten rabies-infected transplant organs, and the song playing was The Fray's How To Save A Life. It was just weird because I'd totally forgotten that Scrubs used that song, and I associate it so much with Grey's Anatomy now that I didn't remember Scrubs used it first. Oddly surreal.
