Just read a little news item that Mel Brooks is developing a TV series based on Spaceballs (for G4, I think, so no one will actually watch it). Animated.

Awesome. I am psyced. Speaking of Mel Brooks I rented Blazing Saddles the other day because of Drew's review. It's awesome.

It sucks that the show will be only on G4. I'd watch it in a heartbeat, if it was on a more accessible channel.

Personally, I am looking forward to Spaceball 2: The Search For More Money.
It has actually being going around, for a while now, that Mel is actually doing a sequel. I'm just curious how much of the orginal cast will be in it.
