So there's nothing funnier than when TV shows mention or make fun of other TV shows, am I right? Right? Uh... false. But still, sometimes it's good for a laugh or two, so this thread is devoted to your favorite examples of just that. What are some of the funnier ones you can remember?
Scrubs Elliot: Can't we just go home, put on our pj's and watch "Grey's Anatomy"? JD: I do love that show. It's like they've been watching our lives and just put them on TV.
The Family Guy Peter: Everybody, I've got bad news. We've been cancelled! Lois: Oh no! Peter, how could they do that? Peter: Well unfortunately, Lois, there's just no more room on the schedule. We've just gotta accept the fact that FOX has to make room for terrific shows like Dark Angel, Titus, Undeclared, Action, That 80's Show, Wonderfalls, Fastlane, Andy Richter Controls the Universe, Skin, Girls Club, Cracking Up, The Pits, Firefly, Get Real, Freakylinks, Wanda At Large, Costello, The Lone Gunmen, A Minute With Stan Hooper, Normal: Ohio, Pasadena, Harsh Realm, Keen Eddy, The Street, American Embassy, Cedric the Entertainer, The Tick, Louie, and Greg the Bunny. Lois: Is there no hope? Peter: Well I suppose if ALL those shows go down the tubes, then yeah, we might have a shot. But what are the odds of that?
[About "Sex & The City"] Brian: Soooo... it's a show about 3 hookers and their mom?

Here is one where Family Guy mentions the simpsons.
Stewie: I'm not gonna lay down for some frat boy bastard with his damn Teva sandals and his Skoal Bandits and his Abercrombie and Fitch long sleeved, open stitched, crew neck Henley smoking his sticky buds out of a soda can while watching his favorite downloaded Simpsons episodes every night! Yes, we all love "Mr. Plow"! ...Oh, you've got the song memorized, do you? So does everyone else!

Oh, you've got the song memorized, do you? So does everyone else! Ha ha, I was singing that song today! I don't have any relevant quotes, but I did enjoy this article about how Studio 60 is not SNL, because they keep talking about SNL. And if Studio 60 isn't SNL, it's Mad TV, and why should we care about Mad TV? Interesting to think about.

Not exactly the same, but I loved it when Arrested Development made fun of their own pending cancellation...
George Sr.: So, what's going on with the fundraiser? Michael: Well, I don't think the Home Builders Organization is gonna be supporting us. George Sr.: Yeah, the HBO's not gonna want us. What do we do now? Michael: Well, I think it's "Show Time." I think we have to have a show during dinner.
