I caught all three parts this last week. I thought it was really, really good. Decent acting and production values, and not only did it have a great concept but it was handled well.
They're going to have a repeat/marathon this Sunday I think.
Is it spinning off into a show? I got the feeling they were going to.

The trailer got me interested. The fact that it stars Peter Krause (Nate from Six Feet Under) sealed the deal.
Now I just have to find out if the first episode will be re-run this week.

I caught part III of this last week, when flipping through the channels in my hotel room. Miller looked soooo familiar to me - I thought at first that he was Nathan Fillion, but then realized that it was Peter Krause (Casey, from Sports Night - I've never seen Six Feet Under, so I didn't know him from that).
Bummer I didn't set the VCR to catch the series today; hopefully they'll replay it again soon.
Oh, and I also heard that they were setting up a series.

Oh, and I also heard that they were setting up a series. That would be fantastic. As long as they keep a continuous storyline and not go the 'object of the week' route. As to the three parts that just aired, I noticed some inconsistencies (highlight to read spoilers): 1. The thumb print. Jim (Peter Krause) says that it must be there from when the room disappeared. It leads him to the old man, who is one of the former owners of the motel. Him and his wife bought it the same year as when the room disappeared, but says there were only nine rooms when they bought it and his wife found the key to room ten later. Which means the room was already gone and that, if he left a thumb print on the mirror, it should've been gone the next time the room reset itself. If anything the print should've led to asylum inmate John Doe/The Occupant.
2. The quarter. If objects don't work inside the room, then Kevin Pollack's kid should've disappeared the moment he walked in.
3. How'd Kevin Pollack get out of the bunker anyway? Even though he had the key there was no lock on the door. He couldn't use the clock (it was the clock, yes?) because it was cement on the other side. And if he had an object for travel (like the bus pass) why did he have to lock Jim in? Confusing.

I would also hope that they don't go the "object of the week" route, either... that's been done already, with Friday the 13th, the Series...

We've been going through the miniseries on DVD. Very impressed, to the point where I'm going to be upset that there isn't more. Reminds me a lot of Lost, in a good way.
