About a couple of moths ago (I am not sure when it started) Turner Classic Moviews started running some really neat cult films on Fridays @ 2:00 AM. They are calling it TCM underground. The flicks are uncut with all the nudity and foul language not usually seen in TCM regular programming
Early showings were hosted by Rob Zombie who did a little intro and outro typical of TCM showings.
They seem to be hitting some of the good but hardly seen flicks: Witchfinder General & some other Vincent price flick Russ Meyer double feature Faster Pussycat, Kill Kill/Mudhoney The Honeymoon Killers (is this even out on video?) A Pam Grier double feature, Coffy & Foxy Brown Eyes without a Face
My Tivo is dancing for joy. ;D

Yeah, I've been keeping an eye on this. Very cool for the cult movie crowd.

Yes!!! Awesome! I get TCM for free, as well. I discovered Harold and Maude on this channel, so it must be good!

For those interested, this Friday Saturday at 2:00am ET, the Underground will be playing Plan 9 From Outer Space as the first of two Ed Wood movies (the other is Bride of the Monster).

That, of course, would be Saturday at 2:00 am (ET). In my world a new day doesn't happen unless I've slept.

I saw the commercial for the Pam Grier double feature. I love TCM anyway; this just proves to the rest of the world they're cool.
