i personally say they are hilarious! but i don't watch too much television, so i only get limited exposure to them. if i watched enough (it seems like they go slightly overboard with them) i might find them completely annoying.

You're an odd dude, Kyle.
I'll say funny, just like the Wassup? guys were funny... at first. We'll see if Geico knows when to stop.

At this point, there are 1.5 tv ad campaigns that get my approval. The first are the Mac vs. PC ads, cause they're genuinely entertaining, and it comes off like there are people working at Mac who consider writing stuff that's actually enjoyable to be a higher priority than just hocking computers.
The .5 goes to these Geico-caveman commercials. While I wouldn't call them hilarious, they're definitely pleasantly tolerable, which is more than I could say for pretty much every other commercial I see on tv.

Add my voice to the chorus. It's funny stuff at the moment. The Gecko was funny at first, too, and that fizzled for me within six months. As for Macs, Maddox sums up my thoughts rather well. As usual. WARNING: HARSH LANGUAGE AND CRASS, JUVENILE HUMOR. (HURRAY!)

This is hilarious timing. I'm in Miami on a business conference, and these two marketing guys (like they do every year, apparently) worked a lot of humour into their presentations, rather than just being boring fact-dumps.
There's one skinny, younger guy, and one slightly older, heavier guy, and together they spoofed two things: the PC/Mac ads and the Geico cavemen.
Specifically, they came out DRESSED like the Geico cavemen (normal clothes, big hair and beards) and they had previously filmed a PC/Mac segment, complete with the toybox piano music.
It was AWESOME. More business trips should start like this!

I seem to recall hearing somewhere that they were going to make a sitcom based around the Geico cavemen.
I'll admit that the commercials verge on brilliant, but a whole sitcom?

I seem to recall hearing somewhere that they were going to make a sitcom based around the Geico cavemen. I'll admit that the commercials verge on brilliant, but a whole sitcom? My mom told me that. At first I was like "haha, that's funny," then I thought "wait...a whole TV show? Wha-?" Then I was like "but one of them's already a TV star on Heroes!" (Anyone else think Ted the Radioactive Man looks exactly like these guys?) Anyway, as for the commercials, I think they're brilliant! At first the Gieco gecko was cute, but I didn't really laugh-out-loud. I do everytime I see a new commercial with the cavemen! I just hope Geico doesn't over-do it like they did with the gecko. I also really like the Cingular commercials with people having phone calls that drop at pivotal moments, and they think it's a meaningful silence from the person on the other end. I just like seeing what the conversation's about in each new one and how the call-dropping's gonna mess it up. As for the Mac commercials.....I don't think they're that good. The first couple were cute, but now I just kinda want Justin Long (much as I love him) to tape his mouth shut. Another anti-Mac link (bitter PC useres?) The lip synch's off, but I still liked them. www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q1AfL0Tsqp8Warning: Some Un-PG13-friendly language
