I'm going to try to convey why everyone should watch this show, in a way that only incoherence and poor sentence structure can.
Jeffrey Donovan. I've liked him ever since I first saw him in Touching Evil. Was moderately disenchanted with life and the living when that show was cancelled.
Burn Notice combines MacGyver-y gadget shenanigans with fourth wall-breaking pauses, a hot woman whom I do not know, either by name or in actual fact, and, arguably best of all, a major supporting role played by The King himself, Mr. Bruce Campbell.
I think I've said enough.

What channel?
Is it available to watch online? (lack of a tv is an issue, sold it for rent)

Watched it upon your recomendation...and I liked it. Donovan is a little blah for me...but he's totally got the banal McGyver narration down to a T. Thanks for the heads up. Oh, and you said you didn't recognize the chick--I swear she's from Disney's Three Musketeers, Louis's wife.

i think you don't have to be monotone and emotionally detached from life to completely appreciate the glory of jeffrey donovan . . . but it helps.
i've loved the guy since 'blair witch 2,' i guess i win. hooray!
'burn notice' is totally awesome. gabrielle anwar is not quite awesome, but she works, so it's all good. my dad got a new cable box that records whatever you want whenever you want, so i talked him through setting it to record all episodes of 'doctor who' and 'burn notice.' should work. we'll see.

Wish I had something that would record those shows. But with these cable programs it's not hard to catch an instant re-run within days of its original airing. And Gabriell Anwar is awesome.
