I'm just wondering if anyone else is a fan of this show. I for one will love anything that involves New Zealand accents and spontaneously breaking out into song.

What a coincidence...I just watched the first two episodes this morning. *gets suspicious*
But yeah, I'm liking the show, and the music. It's like a cross between Spinal Tap and Tenacious D...only it isn't. Is it?

I've watched the first three today, and some live performances of theirs on YouTube. It's good stuff. The sense of humor appeals to me.
I highly recommend looking for their Bowie song anywhere you can. I've never heard such great Bowie impersonations. Very spot-on.

I love Flight of the Conchords! ...Unfortunately I don't have HBO. *weep* Their Bowie impersonations are eerily on the mark. I love all their songs, my favorites are Business Time, She's So Hot... BOOM!, and Something for the Ladies.

I love this show too. Best episode so far was the one with Brett's girlfriend Coco (Yoko). If that's what you're into and that Love is like a roll of tape song were awesome.
Plus that exchange in Murray's office where Jemaine kept saying "ono I didn't". Totally classic. Check it out, the episodes were all on youtube last time I checked.

I should say that since seeing the episode with "David Bowie", I've felt like I'm going insane. You know how you get a song stuck incessantly in your head? I can't stop playing back the David Bowie scenes in my head, and it's been almost a week now.
I'm just so fascinated by the awesome impression. It's like a freaky dream.

I'm orbiting Pluto, I'm drawn in by its groovitational (groovitational!) pull.
(reviving threads ftw)
I am very excited for the season 1 DVD in November, as well as the second season next year.
