So did anyone else watch this?
To describe for those who don't know:
So far it's kinda like Las Vegas meets Moulin Rouge! with a touch of Cop Rock... and Hugh Jackman is the devil (literally or figuratively, could go either way)? I guess, yeah.
I can't decide if I like it or not, but I'm probably going to watch the second episode.

...Hugh Jackman is doing a TV show? That's an interesting career move. I admit, I'm curious.

If I have it right, since this the first big thing that he's doing as a producer he's going to be in a few episodes to get it off the ground. He's a bad guy/owner of the competition, in a shiny suit, who's song is Sympathy for the Devil.
And since I forgot to say: It's on CBS, Sundays at 7:00 pm.... So I've missed the second episode. Doh! Hopefully they'll put it online like the pilot (which was on Thursday, hence the confusion).

This article lists Viva Laughlin as "the first scripted show of the new season to be killed." Sorry, Star.

The show was truly hilarious. I'm disappointed that it's gone so fast, because it had me in a non-stop giggle-fit for two straight episodes. But in all honesty, not only was it no good, it wasn't even salvageable. Poorly written, acted, cast, etc. One big cliche fest just rife with ridiculous touches too numerous to recount.
All that said, I will miss it. But this does help free up my viewing schedule.
