Seinfeld: Kramer's Mundane Adventures
Will Kramer save Little Jerry? Win the Risk game? Get his Kenny Rogers chicken? You decide.
Coin Collectors
Japanese kids use the power of the coins to summon...um...cards. Yes, and the cards fight for them. They turn into origami and fight. Yes.
Sim Accountant
Caclulator not included.
And, finally...
The Doom Generation - The Game
I think it could be one of the few games to get an A rating. Made by (who else) Rockstar Games: making lame games that only have shock value since the beginning of time.

Rockstar Games: making lame games that only have shock value since the beginning of time. If I include myself, this brings the total number of people I know of who hold this opinion up to two. Our ranks swell! And are swell!

Yes! Three of us! That should be plenty for world domination.
On a Rockstar-related note: Red Dead Revolver looks incredibly cool, (Said coolness is bolstered by the fact that good Western-type games only come around about once every five years.) and fairly non-gratuitous.
Sadly, I lack the proper hardware to play it. Sadlier still, even if I did, I'd probably abstain for reasons of principle. Why couldn't this game have been made by a company that doesn't need a swift kick to the nads?

See, it's tough to build up a good mad-on for a company when you're busy lusting after its unreleased products. Just sayin'.

The only game of theirs I've played to any great extent is GTA Vice City. It's not all that shocking, but I do find it fun. Are there other games you're thinking of, or am I just easily amused?

If I can get Germ to come back on, he says a really good rant on it that I agree with 100%. It could be in the archieves somewhere...

I would agree that as a game series, GTA is overrated, but the fact that Rockstar had the 'nads to satire life (the 80's only added flavor...I mean, listen to the NPR spoof again...it's still the same), and does it well, automatically gives it bonus points in my book...and the open-endedness truly is an advancement, or a major popularization of said advancement (were there other games anywhere near as non-linear as GTA3 before or at the same time?)...and for horrid game concepts, I'd nominate a commercial tie-in with Shrek...oh, wait....that's already been done...oops...

The worst concept for Video Games happened so long ago. McKids, where you play two kids whose job it is to get Ronald Mcdonalds staff back from the Hamburgler.
