I'm a pretty dedicated fan of the Silent Hill series. I really enjoyed the first one back when there were no other games quite like it, and 2 really set off my interest. 3 was pretty good, it had some pretty interesting scares and enviroments, but 4 has really let me down.
Before I start some tirade about what I disliked, I just wanted to see what everyone else thought of it.

Let you know after I play it. Though with the games I've still got to get through (Silent Hill 1 [yeah, I'm backtracking], Final Fantasy X-2, Mega Man X6), that'll probably be sometime after Christmas. And that's assuming I don't get involved in Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas first. Which I will.
(BTW, Poolie, you were right about Spider-Man 2. Just spent a few hours at my friend's playing it... darn addictive. And anyone who can rescue all those losers on the sinking boat AND retrieve the stupid balloon is my new hero.)

Seeing as we got derailed in one post anyways...
The balloons are easy. Took me a while to figure this out, but you can lock onto the balloons just like any badguy. Once the camera locks on it, it's practically impossible NOT to catch it.

I haven't played Silent Hill 4 yet but I loved 1 and 2 now all I need to do is get 3 and 4 . I just haven't had the time or the money to get them yet but i really want to get them

I loved SH4, I thought it was refreshing that they tried to do something different with the game series rather than stick to one formula. It added much to the story of Silent Hill, and it maintained a creepy, claustrophobic feel that I've felt in all the other games as well. I give it an A+ for execution, though I felt it was WAY too short. Voyeurism at its worst is when you look through a tiny hole in the wall and see a creepy plush rabbit smiling back at you with blood all over its mouth!
