I'm going to assume you havn't played the gameboy DS yet. The stylus on that thing is faster and more accurate then a mouse. It actually helped me use a mouse better.
Stylus > Mouse > Track ball > Power Glove
they all still have good apps, but stylus is way faster and more accurate then a mouse.
