Greetinx You may or may not be aware that there are thousands upon thousands of online RPGs out there...Games using e-mail, instant messaging, bulletin boards, smoke signals...if there is a form of a communication, you are guaranteed that someone is using it to roleplay... Just like the subject says, a competition was started amongst my friends and I to find out what the most ridiculous RPG out there is. Thus far we've found an RPG based on the show "Lost", where players play themselves on the island... A friend has located a Dallas rpg.... Games can normally be called roleplaying, simulations, PBEMs...searching under these categories will turn something up. I put it to you, fellow mutants, can you locate something worse than this? If you find it, put a link up so we can all bask in the glow of craziness... Best Regards Dorian

There's one, I think it is either for the PSP or Nokia coming out. (I'd have to check my insane amount of video game mags) Where it uses the layout of real cities to walk around and um..... I guess do nothing but find other people.... in the virtual... but still real cities... that it uses GPS or whatever... to..... walk around in.... Yea. Not joking. Did I mention its 3:30 am... And my grammar and spelling and puncuation haven't taken that bad of a hit. Woopee!
Anyway the game is real. Why anyone would play it, or.. walk around in a city when you have a PSP/Nokia, I have no idea.

Gag me with a stick. I don't even want to know what that game is about.

I thought so too, but according to ea its still alive and kickin. I think the biggest blow to it was when they had originally dropped 10 mill on the project and had a lower subscriber base then Ultima Online. And they were expecting something closer to what Wow has become. And they made people pay for the original beta...
And the game was marred with design flaws and really really bad news publicity about all the new whacked out things people realized they could do in it. Can't find any articles of course, but people were finding some seriously messed up things to do in that game that were up until that point because of design, impossible to do in other mmogs.
