Actually, David Wenham plays Faramir. Which I know because I TOTALLY agree with you and think he's incredibly hot in real life and in LOTR, but haven't seen him looking too hot in other flicks yet  (Haven't seen the ones where he would.) David Thewlis is Lupin in Harry Potter. (And should be much better looking... and not have a cheesy mustache.) |

David Wenham (Faramir). It's disturbing, because he's so hot in LOTR, and, well, Audrey in Moulin Rouge!.
I've also seen him in Molokai: The Story of Father Damian (not hot there, but does an excellent job with role), and he was Carl in Van Helsing (and the victim of the evil barber). Must see more of him. There's a romantic comedy type I'd really like to see called Russian Doll with him and Hugo Weaving. I think his big role though has been Better than Sex. (Another one I really must see, but haven't gotten around to yet.)
But I was SHOCKED the first time I saw him "in real life." We'd watched the "Making of" special on the Molokai DVD. They really made him look like Father Damien (who was not all that great looking) in the movie, and when I saw the "real" person I was just like, whoa. (Mature, huh?)
